Undeniable Silence…

We need these two back so badly.

My lack of updates is due in part to one thing: utter depression. The promise that was shown the first couple weeks of the season is but a mere memory at this point. I’ve run out of adjectives to describe our deteriorating season. That sole victory in Sacramento sandwiched between the string of losses is nothing more than an abberration. What makes these recent L’s (against Miami, Milwaukee, Indiana) painful is that they were completely winnable games. The Clips had them in their sights well into the fourth quarter. Then, in the last four or five minutes, all hell breaks loose and no one can make a shot. I think that’s what they call “choking in crunch time”.

There’s an eerie feeling in the Staples Center nowadays. With the drop in attendance, combined with horrid play, it just seems like a scene from Tales From the Crypt. Not to mention the fact that this was easily the easiest stretch of games for the Clips in December. Come month’s end, we’ll have to face Phoenix twice, Dallas, and San Antonio. Ohhhhhhh boy.
